WHAT IS POWER?

POWER is the decision to put down your phone for between 30 and 45 minutes, let go of the daily hustle, and ride.

More than simply a endorphin-boosting, sweat-inducing, high-energy escape from the day-to-day stresses in life, POWER is a highly-immersive, interval-based group ride experience. 

 

POWER takes being ‘in the zone’ to a whole new level. Each rider listens to a specially-curated playlist and real-time motivational instruction through individual POWER wireless headphones. Immersive wireless headphone technology allows riders to fully and authentically connect to the ride, without the distraction of any background noise. POWER delivers a euphoric ride without disturbing nature or non-riders, in the surrounding space.

WHERE IS POWER?

POWER travels to any and every location imaginable. And if that sounds like a challenge, it probably is. 

POWER has the freedom to take stationary bikes and headphones to unique places of natural beauty, deepening the riders' connection to the natural world - boosting physical, mental and social wellbeing. 

Alternatively, POWER can simply set up at a grey, ultimately corporate business park and transform your life there, one pedal stroke at a time. Individual wireless headphones allow riders to work on their mind and body fitness goals alongside those working at their desks, without interruption.

WHY RIDE WITH POWER?

In an increasingly disconnected and lonely world, POWER exists to spark and nurture connection, as part of an endorphin-boosting, sweat-inducing workout. POWER believes the ride connects the tribe.

The collective energy, accountability and determination you feel when you ride with POWER is what will inspire you on your journey to be the happiest, healthiest version of you. Plus, eye-to-eye connection, motivational and spiritual guidance, in real-time, is powerful. 

POWER achieves increased cardiovascular, muscular and mental strength with every pedal stroke, delivering mind and body fitness results that last well beyond the ride time. 

POWER knows that hygiene equals healthy, happy riders. All equipment is cleaned by-hand after every ride, using anti-bacterial and anti-viral cleaning agents. Handlebars, saddles and headphones are given an extra scrub before every ride, to ensure they are sparkling-clean and good-to-go.

WHO CAN RIDE?

There is a bike for everyone, whether you're a first-time rider or a hardcore fitness enthusiast. POWER encourages you to come as you are, and celebrate who you are. All ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels ride together. POWER believes in the energy, motivation and accountability of riding in a group to achieve individual goals: mind, body and spirit.

 

We can help you set up your bike and show you how you can adapt the ride to honour your body, your fitness level, your goals. You are in control of your ride. You increase the intensity of your workout by adjusting the resistance on your bike, to build your mind and body fitness over time.

Riding a bike is a low-impact activity - delivering maximum results with minimal impact on the joints - making it suitable for all ages (14 years plus) and a great entry point to working out, or for those returning after a break from exercise.

 

Each ride is set to music and delivered alongside real-time motivational instruction through individual wireless headphones, so that you can immerse yourself in your mind and body transformation.

*all riders aged under 18 must have a parent- or guardian-signed waiver to ride

WHEN CAN I RIDE?

POWER delivers convenient, accessible mind and body fitness. You can request a 30 or 45 minute ride at any suitable location (within a 30 mile radius of Chichester, UK) between the hours of 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs, Monday to Friday. If there's availability, let’s ride.

Typically, ride times are before work, after the school run, in the middle of the day and after work - why sit in traffic, when you can skip the rush hour and ride.

POWER in the Garage offers scheduled rides, in a real raw, garage space. Check out this week's schedule and Book A Ride.

If you spot a POWER Pop-Up at a business park, community space, or festival - be spontaneous, come and say Hello. If there's a bike available, it's yours.

Alternatively, let's get creative. Ride under a full moon (night time), watch the sun rise over the water whilst you pedal (day time), ride in a cave (no clue what time). Simply, ride. Anywhere. Anytime. *location subject to suitability  *bikes subject to availability

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RIDE?

Great question. The simple answer is that you can reserve a bike from £8.00 per ride. Simply Buy Ride Credits and ride POWER in the Garage.

Accessibility is key to the POWER ethos and loyalty is powerful, both can affect the cost of your ride. We don't want cost to prevent you from riding, and if you ride often we want to reward you.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO RIDE?

Bring your best self, an open mind, a bottle of water and a sweat towel.

Remember to wear suitable active wear and trainers, or cycling shoes with SPD cleats if you want to clip-in to the pedals.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled ride time so that we can make sure you are safely set up on your bike, ready to ride.
